OUR HORSES

Our horse business is small, but we raise great horses. We are always striving to improve our stock. We let our babies "be horses" but do expect good ground manners and social interactions. We expose them to as many situations as possible before sending them to their new homes. Check out our sale horses on the Horses For Sale page.

Our future broodmare, HBX Bold Lass, ranch name "ZZ", is Pasamonte Paul/Three Bars bred. She also has Zantanon/Ed Echos (Hall of Fame Sire, AQHA) breeding. She is out of our former broodmare, Dandy's Bug, who produced athletic foals with good minds and good cow sense. ZZ is a beautiful bay with a pretty head. She is very willing and has fluid, lofty movement. The photos below show a few of Dandy's foals, including ZZ, and you can see more photos in the Mare and Foals Gallery.

Bugs gave birth on April 3, 2006 to this lovely bay filly, out of Smart Sound (photo below).

In 2005, Bugs gave us this knock-out bay filly, named ZZ, also out of Smart Sound. ZZ will be our future broodmare.

The chestnut filly at Bugs' side here is out of Zips Par Bar.

Deb started ZZ at a Buck Brannaman clinic in Wyoming, in July, 2007. These two photos show some of her first rides—the one on the left was in the arena and the one on the right was riding out to gather cattle.
